About Me

I am a New Jersey and New York State, bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting. I work with children, adults, and families, and I have specialized certification in perinatal mental health. I am passionate about fostering a collaborative relationship with my clients. I have worked as a psychologist in community clinics, outpatient hospital clinics, inpatient hospital units, therapeutic schools, and independent schools in the tri-state area.

I bring an empathic, warm, and validating approach to therapy. My goal is to help you identify the ways in which past cycles of behavior are no longer adaptive and to develop new patterns of thinking, while emphasizing your strengths to support your growth. My work is integrative and personalized, utilizing psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-based therapy, and pulling from CBT and DBT skills to best support your growth. Therapy is not only about gaining insight into the past—it's also about building the skills, self-awareness, and confidence needed to create a more fulfilling present and future.

Perinatal Mental Health

Pregnancy and new parenthood can bring joy, overwhelm, identity shifts, anxiety, loneliness, and emotional distress. I create a space to process the emotional realities of becoming a parent.

We will explore not only the immediate challenges of pregnancy and early parenthood but also the deeper emotional experiences, relational patterns, and identity changes that can emerge during this transformative stage of life.

Parenting Psychotherapy

My goal is not to “fix” your child’s behavior. I help you understand your child’s attachment needs, appropriate developmental expectations, and co-regulation. I provide psychotherapy for parents so you can implement new strategies at home.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Behavior Difficulties

  • Emotional Dysregulation

  • Excessive Screen Use

  • Feeding Challenges

  • Toileting

  • School Avoidance
